The supporter's group was founded in 2013 when a small group of passionate West Ham fans wearing the West Ham strip bumped into each other at a DC United Major League Soccer match. This led to meeting for drinks at a downtown Washington, DC bar where the DC Irons were formed. Over a decade later, the DC Irons continues to thrive and meet each week for match day watch parties. We like to think of our group as a place "where friends become family".
